In celebration of the architectural practice’s 20th Anniversary, staff are running multiple events and challenges throughout the year, with the Three Peaks being their main challenge. Each team member taking part will be raising money for their chosen charity, with Carl and Lucy’s being Hope House.

Carl, Chief Executive at Base Architects, said: “We wanted to celebrate in a way that brought us together and pushed us as a team, but would also be something we could do to raise money for good causes.

“Having visited Hope House twice and witnessed first-hand the work they do to support children and families in need, raising money to help is the least I can do.”

Lucy, Business and Planning Executive at Base Architects, said: “I wanted to support a local charity and Hope House is an incredible cause close to my heart. The work they do to support families and children in need is amazing and I’m looking to raise funds to support their work.”

The challenge will see the firm climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours on 9th and 10th June with an incredible ascent of 10,052ft.

“The team have been working hard in their training and have been tracking their progress through Strava which is linked to our Just Giving pages”, said Carl.
