Young Enterprise are holding their second trade fair in the Darwin Shopping Centre in Shrewsbury on Saturday.
Young Enterprise teams will be setting up trade stands, selling their products to shoppers and impressing the judges with their business expertise.
The Mayor of Shrewsbury, Councillor Philip Gillam, will be visiting the Darwin Centre to talk to our young entrepreneurs about their business ideas and their hopes of winning one of the many awards to be presented at the Celebration event on 7h May at the Mercure Telford Centre Hotel.
Young Enterprise Local Volunteer Board members and volunteers will all be available to talk about the programme. John Rainford of Strawberry Fields will be providing a workshop for students to improve their confidence and communication skills in readiness for their presentations in Wolverhampton University’s lecture theatre at Priorslee Campus.
Young Enterprise would like to thank Shrewsbury Shopping Centre for hosting the trade fair and The Vision Gallery for hosting the workshops. Thanks also to all the volunteers who make these events possible.
The trade fairs are open to the public and the students welcome the opportunity to talk to shoppers. Come and meet Shropshire’s young entrepreneurs, see what Young Enterprise is up to this year and support our young people – trade stands will be open to the public between 9am and 4pm.
