PBS Creative, based in Telford, has seen significant growth since its inception and is currently planning a move to larger offices to house the extra staff.

Bosses said the two new developers complement the team’s existing skill sets and will allow the company to increase its capacity to fulfil customer demand.

The new developers, Jack O’Connor and Adam Smith, bring new expertise and the company now has integration with the popular marketing and sales tool, Hub Spot. They are also building an exciting new software product for the marine market, which has required extra developer resources.

Peter Barfield, Co-director at PBS Creative, said: “Our mission when we started seven years ago was to build great relationships with a small number of select clients who we could help, advise and develop solutions for to really make a difference to their business.

“It turns out that this approach was also favoured by clients, so they recommended us to people and over time this has led to successful, stable, organic growth.

“Our clients tend to stay with us over many projects, but we have picked up three new larger project clients, which has contributed to our success and significant business growth in the last financial year.

“It was also a big year for our Board Clever product, a product for the sign-board erector market, which saw a 60% increase in customers for the client.”

Mr Barfield said the 4th industrial revolution (4IR) and digital transformation had spurred on businesses to implement improvements around their systems and data.

He said the company was now being asked to build solutions to help its clients work smarter, more efficiently and improve their customer experience.

“It’s an exciting transformational time – something every business needs to be thinking about right now as their competitors almost certainly will be.

“It’s important for us to review the past year and appreciate our success. We have a great team and it’s thanks to their talent and hard work we can continue to grow.

“We’re starting to see more and more enquiries from local companies who are only just discovering us, so we’re super excited to be working with new people and also working to realise our own project plans for the coming year.

“Our industry never stands still, we’re watching new technical developments with great interest to remain at the forefront of our game,” he added.
