He has expertise in working with trusts and foundations, businesses, legacies, major giving and planning fundraising events and is also a member of the Institute of Fundraising (IofF).

He said: “I am delighted to have taken up the position of Fundraising Manager at the Ironbridge Gorge Museums Trust and am looking forward to building on solid foundations of fundraising here at the Trust.

“I am really looking forward to working with local and regional businesses, and developing innovative fundraising appeals and events that will significantly and vitally support the many heritage conservation and education projects we have taking place at our museums and within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site.

“The fundraising team is particularly keen on hearing from businesses who might want to become one of our 1,000 Builders, and directly supporting our Fund for the Future appeal that is building a fund that will dramatically develop our museums in Coalbrookdale, enabling our museums and our industrial and STEM heritage to preserve for future generations to enjoy and be educated by.”

Adam will be at the new Furnace restaurant for the Business Bridge networking meeting on September 11th from 8.30am to meet with those businesses that have already signed up to the Fund for the Future campaign, and meet other Shropshire businesses.

Chef Marcus Bean will be on hand during the networking meeting to chat to guests and give them an exclusive look at one of the dishes on The Furnace menu!
