Founder and director Nathan Rous expressed his delight to welcome more local talent to the team.

“It’s been a great few months for our team, not only have we moved to our new offices in Wellington and launched our specialist hospitality consultancy Mr Greenside, we have also been busier than ever with projects for our existing and new clients.

“As a result, we are thrilled to welcome Jodie who joins us as a junior account manager as we look to expand our PR and social media offering throughout 2019.”

Jodie, who graduated from Birmingham City University with a first-class degree in public relations in 2017, has spent the past two years in the press office at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, working on many high-profile regional campaigns including the award-winning Big Sleuth project which raised over £250,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.

Her appointment follows Kim Tomlinson who joined the company as an account executive in January following the successful launch of a new arm to the business; hospitality consultancy Mr Greenside.

Mr Greenside provides a comprehensive and analytical service to pubs, restaurants and hotels looking at their PR and marketing provision while also drawing on a team of food stylists, operations’ experts, flavour innovators, employee engagement experts and nutritionists.

Nathan Rous PR, which specialises in public relations, video, social media and brand direction, works with some of Britain’s leading brands and a number of international organisations including bike share firm nextbike and Britain’s last remaining teddy bear factory Merrythought.

“Although our clients are all over the world, we are really proud to be based in Shropshire, it is a great place to work from and is full of creative talent – both Kim and Jodie are proof of this,” added Nathan.
