County Training is to run advice sessions across Shropshire for young people leaving education next summer and also for anyone currently seeking a pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship.
The advice sessions will take place in Shrewsbury, Telford, Oswestry, Whitchurch, Hereford and Ludlow from 10am and 6pm between 12 – 16 November.
Those exploring their next steps, as well as parents and carers, are urged to book a slot.
There will be advice and guidance on pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programmes, details of current apprenticeship openings with local employers and information on how County Training can help you to reach your career aspirations.
County Training’s apprenticeships can start at any time of the year and anyone aged 16 or above, with the right entry requirements could be eligible.
Ellie-Mae Bladen who completed her Level 2 Business Administration apprenticeship through County Training, with Express Fit Auto, and is now going on to her Level 3, thinks apprenticeships are a great way into full time employment and commented “I couldn’t have found a better place to work, I have gained skills, experience and confidence on the apprenticeship and taken on tasks the company weren’t expecting me to take on so early.”
To book a slot at one of one of the advice sessions, email email@example.com, stating your preferred location and career goals and a member of the County Training team will be touch to arrange an appointment.
