Two members of staff from Kudos Blends, based in Cleobury Mortimer, will be putting their best foot forward in the inaugural Cleobury Mortimer 10K happening next week.
Donna Roper, European sales manager and Calum Follan, from the site services department, will be joining 198 other runners taking part in the event, which kicks off on Sunday, July 1, at 11am.
Kudos Blends is also sponsoring the occasion by providing bananas for the goody bags.
Donna is running to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society as both her late grandmothers spent the last years of their lives with dementia. She said ”I have seen, first-hand, how difficult and upsetting it can be for the individual as well as their family. I will be running for both my grandmothers, whilst raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society, to help support those affected by this condition.
“So far, l have raised £300 towards my minimum target of £500, so any donations, however small, would be greatly appreciated.”
