Heritage Glass Group of Shropshire has announced a major appointment to the senior management level of the company, the first time in its 17 years in business that a non-family member has been selected.
Shrewsbury man Paul Hotchkiss has been with the firm for 15 years, latterly as general manager, and has now been appointed as a registered director and shareholder, retaining responsibility for the day to day running of the specialist glazing company.
Managing director David Randall, said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul on board at the very highest level as he has shown tremendous commitment and dedication while working for us over these many years.
“The group is steadily expanding to develop all areas of the glazing industry and we will be opening new outlets in the region in the very near future. This will require the expertise and experience that Paul retains, to ensure that our customers, both commercial and domestic, continue to receive the levels of satisfaction that we are justifiably proud of.”
Paul Hotchkiss, added: “These are very exciting times as the company moves forward and I am honoured to have been invited to join the senior managers in helping with the expansion plans. Our order books are up 40% on last year and we are steadily increasing our workforce to meet increased demand for our products and services.
“I relish the challenge of further growth and in helping to enhance the Heritage Glass Group name in the future.”
