The ladies of leading Shropshire law firm Aaron & Partners LLP treated their network of female contacts to a networking event with a difference last month with an afternoon tea at the picturesque Mytton & Mermaid Hotel in Atcham.

Aaron & Partners welcomed around 50 of Shropshire’s businesswomen to the country house hotel on the banks of the River Severn, serving bubbly in the courtyard before sitting down for a quintessential high tea complete with dainty sandwiches and heavily laden cake stands.

Commercial Property Partner Trish Randles said: “This is the second year we have run our afternoon tea event since opening our Shrewsbury office, and the turnout has been fantastic. It can be difficult to find the time to network during a busy working week, with family commitments often coming into play in the evenings. A sunny Friday afternoon has proved to be the perfect draw.

“We wanted to organise an afternoon with women in mind – so often networking events are male-oriented and geared towards sport, but a good afternoon tea is a great way to unwind a little while creating the opportunity for valuable conversations. We’d like to thank everyone who attended and helped to make it so enjoyable.”

UK top 200 law firm Aaron & Partners acquired Bennett’s Legal in Shrewsbury in 2013. Since then it has grown to become a £1million operation, fast-tracking a move to new premises on Abbey Lawn last year to accommodate new recruits. The firm specialises in advising owner-managed businesses, land owners and high-net worth individuals across both commercial and private legal matters.
