A leading Shropshire manufacturer is celebrating success following a 60 per cent increase in customer numbers s over the past year.
Bridgnorth Aluminium, which produces high quality aluminium rolled products, acquired a major number of contracts during 2014-15, including deals with big-name-brands such as Siemens and Schneider Electric.
“The past 12 months have been fantastic for the firm,” explained Managing Director of Bridgnorth Aluminium, Simon MacVicker.
“We’ve seen notable progress in the automotive and electrical sectors in particular, partly due to a hugely successful appearance at the 2014 CWIEME Show in Berlin – one of the world’s leading events for coil winding, insulation, and electrical manufacturing.
“As a business, we place a great emphasis on investing in our staff and our facilities, and 2014-15 has been no different. Following a €3.5million investment in a new piece of finishing equipment last year, we’ve seen the number of international customers increase dramatically, with enquiries and orders from destinations as far afield as Colombia and Paraguay.”
Bridgnorth Aluminium has won approximately 3,500 tonnes of new business across the automotive and electrical sectors over the past 6 months alone, all of which is being produced on the new piece of finishing equipment.
“With further investment plans in full swing, we’re certainly looking forward to continuing to build on our successes for the remainder the year and beyond,” concluded Simon.
