Dr. Thomas Norlin D.D.S., Odont. Lic., former Clinical Director of The Dental Spa in Shrewsbury, is an internationally acknowledged expert in halitosis and has a special interest in implants. He is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Association of Dental Implantologists and the International Team for Implantology.

Dr. Norlin has opened the practice with Deb Price who brings many years’ experience in Management. They are now working together at the new Esthetique Dental practice at The Stables, Sansaw Business Park, near Hadnall, where they are joined by Dr. Emily Wright B.D.S.

Speaking from the new practice today, Mrs Price said: “Esthetique Dental is set in beautiful surroundings just a short distance from Shrewsbury. The location is within easy reach for patients in Shrewsbury, Wem and Whitchurch, as well as the M54/A5 corridor. We are just putting the finishing touches to the property and hope to be open for business as a private practice which will also offer Denplan before the end of March. Patients can register their interest online now at www.esthetiquedental.co.uk.

“Equipment in the practice is all state of the art and of the highest quality for patient comfort and safety. Each treatment room has a television monitor through which the dentist can convey x-rays and information slides to the patient. Currently we are a small but expanding team and the interior of the practice has been designed to accommodate further dentists as we grow. We are presently inviting applications for additional dental nurses and also hygienists. Potential candidates can register an interest via our website.”

Dr. Norlin, who qualified as a dentist in Stockholm in 1998, is also known for his part in developing and patenting CB12, an internationally marketed mouthwash which neutralises bad breath for up to twelve hours. After qualifying as an implantologist in 2001 Dr. Norlin has focused on the aesthetics of implant procedure, including restorative prosthodontics and surgery combined with general dentistry. He also carries out surgical grafting procedures such as block grafts, sinus lifting and apicoectomies.

A former student of Wrekin College, Dr. Emily Wright studied Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine, Restorative Dentistry, Orthodontics and Paediatrics at Bristol Dental School. She later took up a post as Senior House Officer at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital where she carried out minor and major surgery in the Maxillofacial Department. Dr. Wright was admitted as a Member of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2010. She then went on to work in private practice in Shrewsbury.
