The show is about a man reminiscing about his favourite musical which is then performed in front of him with Mr Millward playing one of the stars of the musical.

He said: “I wanted to do something different to keep myself busy so I went for a singing lesson and my singing teacher said I should contact the director.

“The auditions were the next day so I went from that to landing a lead role which I never expected.

“I’m having dance lessons every day which I’m really enjoying. Roller skating is also a challenge but I’m sure I’ll get there.”

The show will run from the 18th to 21st of April with tickets set to go on sale in early February.

Mr Millward added: “The show’s tagline is along the lines of ‘This is the show to see if the first thing you think when you sit down in a theatre is ‘Please let it be good’. It’s genuinely very funny with some unbelievably talented individuals performing. I have been amazed that the standard is so high!”
