Lanyon Bowdler offered fun days out at Burwarton Show

On a day of ‘liquid sunshine’ more than 250 people entered a competition to guess how many of the infamous Lanyon Bowdler teddy bears were hiding in a hay filled crate, the lucky prize winners were announced towards the end of the day.

Prizes were very kindly donated by West Midlands Safari Park, Severn Valley Railway, Ray’s Farm and Acton Scott Historic Working Farm – all superb attractions located relatively close by.

A morning of heavy showers saw many take advantage of a cup of tea and a sit down in the Lanyon Bowdler marquee. As usual the team were on hand to provide a variety of refreshments throughout the day.

David Battisby, Managing Partner of Lanyon Bowdler commented, “I would like to express thanks to the various attractions for kindly donating tickets for our competition, they certainly helped make it such a huge success.”

He added “Burwarton is a very special show for us and our farming clients, and we were delighted with how the day went. It was great to see so many familiar faces, our tent was busy all day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”
