Two Shropshire sisters are celebrating national success after their business, The Country Office, won Agricultural Bookkeeper of the Year at the 2025 Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) LUCA Awards.

Founded by Sarah Glazebrook-Milner and Clarrie Dale, The Country Office supports farms across Shropshire and beyond with agricultural bookkeeping, payroll, grant applications, farm assurance support and business management services. The pair travelled to London on 17 November for the prestigious LUCA Awards ceremony, where their commitment to helping rural businesses thrive was recognised on the national stage.
The agricultural category celebrates outstanding service to farming and rural communities—an area often overlooked within both the accounting and agricultural sectors. Winning the award highlights the crucial and growing role that specialist rural administrators play in the resilience of today’s farming businesses.
“We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award,” said Sarah. “Supporting farmers to improve efficiency and make informed decisions is at the heart of what we do. This recognition means the world to us and to our clients.”
Clarrie added: “Coming from a farming family ourselves, we understand the pressures and realities of rural life. Every business we work with is different, and we take the time to tailor our services and introduce innovative tools that help farmers stay compliant, confident and future-ready.”
The sisters credit their professional development to their membership of both the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) and the Institute of Agricultural Secretaries and Administrators (IAgSA), organisations that provide specialist training, support and high industry standards.
Committed to flying the flag for Shropshire’s farming community, The Country Office continues to help rural enterprises navigate change, strengthen operations and plan for the future. Their national success shines a spotlight not only on their own achievements, but on the dedication and innovation present across Shropshire’s agricultural sector.
