A company which transports passengers from Shropshire to Manchester Airport has completed the letting of a new unit at Shrewsbury’s popular Vanguard Trade Park.
Express Airport Transfers has agreed a nine-year lease for Plot 19 Unit H on Vanguard Way in the town’s principal commercial area.
Amie Lingwood, of Towler Shaw Roberts, who handled the letting, said the company would use the unit for the storage, repair and maintenance of the vehicles used for its easyBus operation, which takes passengers from Shropshire to Manchester Airport on a daily basis.
Express Airport Transfers already occupy a site on nearby Levens Drive in Harlescott, which acts as a depot for its buses.
Unit H, a modern commercial unit, extends to approximately 1,960 sq ft and has an eaves height of seven metres, benefiting from a glazed frontage and a roller shutter loading door.
Units J and K at Plot 19 are still available but both are attracting strong interest.
Unit J offers accommodation of 1,960 sq ft and Unit K extends to 4,600 sq ft.
Ms Lingwood added: “Units J and K remain available but are both generating a strong level of interest. Now that Express Airport Transfers has completed the letting for Unit H, we hope to soon be in a position to confirm occupiers for the two other units at Plot 19.
“This is a prime site within the region’s most successful trade business park.”
TSR handled the sale of Plot 19 to a local investor earlier in the year before being instructed to secure lettings for the three units.
