Dogs Trust Shrewsbury to host Christmas Fair this Sunday

Dogs Trust Shrewsbury will be hosting its annual Christmas Fair on Sunday 29th November.

Taking place at the rehoming centre in Roden from 12-4pm, the annual event promises to be a great day out for all the family, with four-legged friends invited to join in the fun too!

Highlights will include a Grand Raffle, a festive performance by the local school choir and Tombola. Guests will also be treated to Christmas themed refreshments and a chance to meet Santa ‘Paws’.

There will also be the opportunity to get a head start on your Christmas shopping with stalls selling stocking fillers, treats, Dogs Trust merchandise and Christmas cards.

Dogs Trust Shrewsbury supporter relations officer, Louise Campbell said: “Our Christmas fair is always a wonderful occasion. This year promises to be a fantastic day out for family, friends and canine chums alike. We look forward to welcoming everyone along to the rehoming centre for a festive, fun-filled evening. All the money donated at the Christmas fair, will go directly to the dogs in our care, it’s a wonderful way to raise pounds for hounds whilst getting in the Christmas spirit.”

Staff at Dogs Trust Shrewsbury are also calling on local people and businesses to donate goods to the Christmas Fair to be used as prizes in the Grand Raffle. Previous year’s prizes have included bottles of bubbly and Christmas hampers.

The Dogs Trust Shrewsbury Christmas Fair is taking place at the Rehoming Centre on Sunday 29th November, from 12pm-4pm.
