Electrical items stolen during burglaries

West Mercia Police

The first burglary occurred between 4pm on Friday 26 December and 11am on Sunday 28 December on Brades Road in the Prees area. Offenders forced entry to the property and stole a number of belongings including two Sony flat screen televisions and a surround sound system.

The second burglary happened between 10am on Saturday 27 December and 6.15pm on Sunday 28 December on Sylvan Close in the Higher Heath area. Entry was forced to the property and a Dell laptop was stolen as well as jewellery worth around £700, including commemorative crown coins from 1953 and 1976 and three World War One medals marked with ‘Albert Edward Bishop’.

Police are treating the burglaries as linked and are eager to hear from anyone with information. Call police on 101, quoting incidents 245S and 421S of Sunday 28 December.

In Telford, a home was broken into on Arleston Avenue at some point between 1pm and 8.30pm yesterday. The offenders forced entry into the property stealing a 60” black LG TV, 2 ipad minis, 2 DS consoles and an ipod. They then left via the back door.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 524 of 30 December.
