is owned and operated by two local business partners, Martin
Childs and Chris Pritchard.
They have over twenty years media experience
between them, and combined with their local knowledge, they
are now focusing their energies into this web based, local
information hub.

Martin
is no stranger in the world of media, starting his career
in creative radio advertising in 1993, with locally
acclaimed 'Beacon Radio'. His achievements include,
winning a 'Mobius' award for creativity, - one of radio’s
most prestigious awards.
More recently, Martin became station Manager for the
launch of a new radio station for Shrewsbury and Oswestry,
and went on to present the Drivetime show, for two years.
Martin is full of passion and excitement, for this new
project, and cannot wait for everyone to find out about
it.

Chris
is well known in Shropshire for presenting on local
radio stations, such as, 'The Severn' and 'Telford FM'.
As well as radio presenting, Chris is also a journalist,
having presented items for the 'BBC' and 'SKY News'.
In 2001, Chris launched, and voluntarily ran the successful
'Shrewsbury Guide' website. Now, in 2009, as local media
changes, Chris is putting all his skills and knowledge
to the test with the launch of shropshirelive.com,
a unique, Shropshire based, interactive information
website.
