the
review - harry
potter and the half blood prince- submitted
by Dan Roach
Warner Brothers knew it was a good
marketing move pushing the release date of this film back 8
months - but was it worth the wait?
Well, Potter fans wont be disappointed as the film delivers
on every level. Its organic development that owes thanks to
Rowlings fantastic writing ability see Potter grow from boy
into a young man.
Hormones are broiling and emotions are flaring in this next
exciting installment of the boy wizard. Almost everybody in
the theatre will know the significant ending, (for which I wont
spoil for anyone who hasn't read the book),and although this
holds its own as a fantastic film you need to look at it more
as a set up to the final installment. The Potter saga seems
to get darker every installment and this is no exception.
Some young children may find certain scenes quite disturbing;
I even jumped at the cave scene...(I'll let you find out for
yourself)! Five
stars for the Potter fans, 3-4 for muggles, (not wizarding
folk).
