New “hot rock” bistro to launch in Shrewsbury
A brand new Bistro is launching in the heart of Shrewsbury on Saturday 21 April.
On the back of the success of Serenity’s much loved Cafe Retreat and with much encouragement from regulars, The Stonehouse Bistro will be offering a lunch time menu to compliment the existing Cafe Retreat homemade fayre but will also transform the Cafe in the evening into a unique and intimate setting, proudly selling local wines and organic produce from the Shropshire countryside.
The Stonehouse Bistro will be one of its kind in Shrewsbury as at the heart of the menu will be the volcanic “hot rock” experience, where diners will be able to cook their own meals to perfection at their table. With choice ranging from the very best steak extra matured for tenderness to tuna, scallops and even mouth watering vegetarian treats.
With no oil or fat this way of cooking is healthy and in keeping with our existing and successful gluten and dairy free cafe menu. Other dishes on the menu will all be homemade from hearty mains, sumptuous starters to delicious desserts. Good family food from a family run eatery.
The Stonehouse Bistro offers free Wifi and will be open on Fridays and Saturdays until 10pm.
