Manager of Whitchurch estate agency aiming for growth
The new manager of estate agents Halls’ Whitchurch office is aiming to grow the business in North Shropshire and South Cheshire.
Nick Ball, 43, who has nearly 23 years’ experience of the property industry in Shropshire, takes over the reins at 8, Watergate Street from Tom Jones, who has moved to Scotland to manage a country estate.
He joins Halls after four years as business development manager for a company selling conveyancing services to estate agents in the North of England. He was previously sales director and area manager for another local estate agent.
“I am thoroughly enjoying being back in the estate agency market and am looking to drive the business forward,†he said. “Halls is a very well respected and successful company and has great potential to expand into new areas.
“Having worked in Nantwich and Market Drayton, I already know most of the area and our job is to try and deliver the best possible customer service to establish Halls’ Whitchurch office as number one in the town.â€
Mr Ball leads a team of four, which includes sales negotiators Dawn Wheeler, Louise Hocknell and Clair Grimley.
Away from work, he is a keen sportsman, currently turning out for Prees Cricket Club as well as playing golf and tennis. Next month, he has booked a holiday to New Zealand to watch England take on Scotland in the Rugby World Cup.
Upcycling junk into art is the focus of a new exhibition by ten Shropshire artists.
